I took my mom and aunt to Niagara Falls yesterday. The weather was pretty good. Not too warm, not too cold.
We saw a really cheesy 3D/4D film on "the Legends of Niagara". Don’t go see it. It was pretty cheesy and we didn’t learn anything. Although when the 3D effects started, my aunt screamed very loudly. Several times.
While there, we went to TGI Fridays for lunch. They wanted to charge us $4 for a pop. And it wasn’t even coke – it was pepsi. Who would pay $4 for a Diet Pepsi? We had water. But we were worried that they would charge us for the lemon.
We also went to the Fallsview Casino. We played the slots. I lost $15 in about 20 minutes. My aunt did better. She stretched $20 to last about 90 minutes. Mom lost $30 in the same time. As you can see, we’re big time gamblers.
The falls were nice though.

pffffhhhh. You should have told me you were coming down! Even if we didn\’t meet up, I would have warned you about TGI\’s….
I was so excited when they originally opened up, seeing the commercials all the time on T.V.I knew it\’d be pricey since it\’s right on tourist\’s lane, but I had to go check it out…I almost fell off my seat when I saw the prices! It was $12 for Mozza sticks…and you got 4. 😐 *shake my head*. I\’m surprised they are still open actually. Poor tourists. lol

3D/4D is when it\’s a normal 3D movie (with the glasses and everything) but then they also add effects like spraying water at you when there\’s water on the screen. They shake your seats, which I\’m imagining would be effective if the movie had some kind of vehicle travel or earthquake, but for this movie, they just seemed to shake the seats all willy nilly and it was more annoying than effective. And at one point, they were in a cave that bats came out of and they had little vents blowing shots of air at you so it felt like bats were flying past you. That effect was kind of cool. But what the hell bats were doing in a movie about Niagara Falls, I can\’t tell you. Ditto for the big assed spiders.
